Cren & Akte One: A Paris-Berlin Collaboration

For District 13 Art Fair, Nightime Gallery is proud to present the work of Cren and Akte One, two renowned urban artists.

  • Cren, a Franco-German urban artist and member of the TNB and KD crews, began graffiti in 1989 and has been active worldwide.
  • Akte One, a Berlin-based urban artist and musician, started graffiti in 1991. A co-founder of the TLB crew, he is a key figure in Berlin’s hip-hop scene.

The duo first collaborated in 2015 during Akte One’s solo exhibition in Berlin. They now work on individual projects as well as joint installations, blending

their creative visions into unique, four-handed artworks.

At District 13, Cren and Akte One will explore the theme Paris-Berlin, presenting their signature 3D Chroma-Depth style, developed since 2016. This technique allo

ws viewers to experience artworks in multidimensional depth using special 3D glasses. Previously showcased at the Berlin project “The Haus” in 2017 and more recently at the MAUSA museum in 2024, their immersive creations for District 13 promise to captivate and engage the audience.

This presentation is brought to you in collaboration with Nightime Gallery.
