Experts in Modern and Contemporary Tattoo Art, Anne & Julien (founders of the art magazine HEY! modern art & pop culture) reveal a selection of works by tattoo artists following same criteria and requirements that have guided and built their exhibition “Tatoueurs, Tatoués“ (curatorial head mission by Anne & Julien / HEY!).

After hosting 750,000 visitors to Paris in 2014 at the musée du quai Branly, this crucial exhibition is now on world wild touring until 2020 (Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto; Field Museum, Chicago; Natural History Museum, Los Angeles…).

Further, since 2017, the musée du quai Branly extend its collaboration with Anne De HEY! in order to develop a permanent of official collection dedicated to preservation of the art of tattooing and promotion of its contemporary artistic creation.

The art mag HEY! modern art & pop culture is the only European mag specialized in contemporary Pop Outsider (Tattoo, Pop Surrealism, Lowbrow, Graphic novel…) which clarify the emerging dialogue between academic field knowed as « Art Savant » and popular arts so-called « Outsider ».
