Albin Michel – Éditions Beaux Livres

Paris, France

Founded in 1901, Albin Michel is one of the last major independent publishers in France. The “Fine Books“ collection was launched in 2009 with the publishing as a world exclusive of “Paradis secrets from Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé“. After this, the catalog expended at a rate of dozen books per year, on themes like painting, photography, design or outsider art, offering unique object-books with exclusive contents which built its reputation.

In 2014 they created a reference multilingual collection dedicated to Street Art that documents and immortalizes the major events around the world – like“Tour Paris 13“ or “Djerbahood“ – and offers new monographs created with artists –“C215 la monographie“, “OBEY Earth crisis“, “INTI“. Some of these books go with box sets of limited editions offering numbered and signed works.
