Born from the meeting of artists and cultural producers, the gallery aims to be a multifaceted space capable of exploring the various levels of art interaction – between the street, the public, and the exhibition space – engaging with the urban fabric in a reciprocal and dynamic exchange, constantly evolving.

With this objective in mind, the Street Levels Gallery team has created a space entirely dedicated to artistic experimentation, the exhibition of works, the creation of connections, human networks, and shared projects. Cultural provocation acts as a parallel practice, with the clear intention of narrating the paths and artistic expressions born on the street, supporting their existence while simultaneously striving to break down the narrative and stereotypical boundaries between public and private spaces, between the street and the exhibition venue.

Street Levels Gallery plays the essential role of a “buffer,” mediating and reconciling different artistic visions with the needs of private individuals, public administrations, and the community it serves. Today, the gallery boasts a long history of successful collaborations with municipalities, festivals, art exhibitions, museums, companies, associations, collectives, universities, as well as public and private entities, all with the ultimate goal of spreading and promoting the Urban Art movement in Italy and around the world.

Ache77

Born in Romania in 1991, Ache77 lives and works in Florence. Active since 2007, he has found in stencil art the ideal medium to unite gesture, thought, and material. Trained in sculpture at the George Enescu University of Visual Arts and Design in Iași, he explores unsanctioned interventions in public space, viewing the city as a living body to be marked with signs of awareness.

Based in Florence since 2015, he is a resident artist and co-founder of Street Levels Gallery, the first Tuscan gallery dedicated to urban art. His work bridges the gap between exhibition space and public space, maintaining a delicate balance between artistic freedom and the collective function of imagery.

Rooted in cutting and engraving, his practice takes on the form of a meditative ritual — a repeated gesture that becomes a language. The faces he creates do not describe; they evoke, opening a space of resonance between the image and the viewer. Whether appearing on walls or within galleries, his works act as vessels of memory — silent presences that recall the living, vulnerable, and authentic essence of the human being.
